Meet the Author

Darrell Bryant lives in the Pennsylvania countryside, where fields, wooded paths, changing seasons, and everyday walks provide plenty of room for stories to grow.

The Adventures of Brando & Gonzo began with the dogs who became his family and the ordinary moments that made their lives together memorable. Some of the stories come from things that really happened. Others begin with a familiar look, a sound from the woods, or the simple question: What might they do next?

Darrell created Bryant Oak Studios to give those stories a home. His hope is simply that children and adults will enjoy spending time with this family—and perhaps recognize something they love about their own.
